Dia de los Muertos - Pick a Person

I plan to construct a Dia de los Muertos altar about Valentin Elizalde His main character trait is daring This person is known for  singing mexican musc and being very honest with what he says in his songs.This person’s appearance is a hat, jeans he always wears a necklace that his dad gave him and he wear a bealt at all times.Others think this person is to honest in his music.This person is known for saying the truth in his music and saying how he felt. This person thought that telling the truth will help him realive his stress. A few items that I may include in my altar to represent this person is a necklace and a picture of a rooster because he like roosters. I selected this person because I really like his music and I like that he tells the truth in his music

“Two Kinds” Character Analysis Paragraph

 feel like the story was good, because she that little was not so rude to her mom. But he mom should have been rude to here kid because she want her kid to be right even though that person couldn’t hear he though she was doing a good job. But she was missing all the notes for the song and she keeping messing up but the teacher think she doing a great job. And I think that the mother she been a little softer on her kid.

"Two Kinds" Mother-Daughter Conflict

  In the conflict between Jing-mei and her mother, Jing-mei doesn't want to play the piano. For example, she told her mom that she didnt want to play and that she was never going to be brilliant. This shows that she doesnt really want to play the piano. This also shows that the mom is trying to be demanding to mthe daughter. In addition, she tries to tell her mom she doesnt want to play the piano but the mom doesnt care. Jing-mei's her mother’s actions maade Jing-Mei rebe.ll against her

: "Marigolds" Lizbeth's Shoes Paragraph

If I was in Lizbeth's shoes I would try to talk to my mom and try to  tell her what I would want to do. If my mom would tell me that I had to do something I didn't want to do but she still made me do it I would purposely do what Lizbeth did I would try my hardest to not listen to her. I would also tell my mom that all the time she thought I was doing great with piano lessons I was doing horrible and not trying.

"Everyday Use" Before You Read: Tradition

Fifteen years from now, I will be a married parent with 2 kids getting ready for the holidays. This tradition involves being with the family during holidays. One of my happy memories of this tradition is when it easter and all our family was together and we all went looking for eggs. I will share this with my children by showing them what I used to do with my family. By sharing this tradition with future generations, I hope that when i'm gone my kids and grand children would still follow it.
