My UnGoogleable Research for an Eight-Year Old

Some people don't know what a puppy mill. They also don't know what are the bad things about dogs that are from there. The three big ideas is that there shouldn't be puppy mills because the puppy who take care of them don't really take care of them and they don't pay attention to the puppies. After the mom dog is done having babies the mom dog gets thrown away or gets killed. No one ever holds the puppies so when some one takes one of the puppies home the puppies are really mad sometimes. It is important to know this information because not a lot of people know about it and because it;s just fun to research it.

UnGoogleable Research Paper Highlight Reflection

Reading and highlighting the sources for my UnGoogleable research paper helped me to find more usual informationg for my research.I learned that puppy mills kills the the dogs after they can't breed anymore. I can break my information into three sections. One sections is to know what to highlight and what not to highlight. Another section is to find a good and appropriate website that gives you good information. The third section is that what ever your highlighted is irrelevant to what you are trying to research.
My next step to write a research paper should be to is to get the facts together first and then organize them.

UnGoogleable Research Paper Website Selection Reflection

Today in class I went to different websites to find information for my research paper.
To search for websites, I  use some of the websites Ms. Priester gave us and searched what I had to search.
When I found a website related to my focus question, I copied the URL and pasted it on my delicous account so I could go look back at the information when I need to. I knew some of the websites I found were unacceptable because the didn't have the usefull infomation that I needed or didn't have any facts.
Tomorrow, I expect that Ms. Priester will tell me to pull up the information that I got and highlight the goood information that is one there.

UnGoogleable Research Paper – Website Evaluation Tips

I asked 3 people questions to help me learn about good resources. I interviewed Kyle about the question.He said if I wanted to find a good website for writing a research paper I would have to look at the website and see if it has academic sources. Kyle also said to check that it is not business related or college oriented. I asked Dre my housemate. Dre told me I would find out if it is a good website by checking the citations because that will tell me a lot about the website. I also asked Italia and she told me to make sure the website is not facts that people can write on their own accord. For example, I shouldn't go to the website Wikipedia or Answers.com because those websites people put fact put  what they think are facts.The advice that these people told me will help me write my research paper because they game me good things to look at to get a good website and they also told me the bad things to look at in websites and what to avoid. I asked these people because they have went to college or are going to go to college so they had to do research paper so they know what to look for and what not in a website.

UnGoogleable Research – What I Already Know

My focus question is "Why do people buy pets from puppy mills after knowing they were mistreated?"
I already know that Puppy Mills lie to the people that buy the dogs and tell them that the dogs were well taken care of. I also know that sometime the store that puppy mills sell to don't know they were mistreated. Additionally, I know that animals are abused so no one will notice. By doing this research I hope to learn more about Puppy Mills and why do they abuse the animals. I also want to learn more about  Puppy Mills and why they are abused.
